The reason we started
We built Bus2Job because we couldn't find anything else that did what it does.
If you don't own a car, job hunting looks different. A listing that's a 20-minute drive away might be an hour and three transfers by bus — or it might not be reachable at all. Every job board we tried showed listings by straight-line distance, not by whether you could actually get there and back on a bus you already ride, or one you could learn.
So we made the tool we wished existed: search for jobs the way you actually commute. Enter your address and a category, or tell us the routes you already ride, and we'll show you real listings ranked by real transit time — with the specific bus, the transfers, and the walk to the stop, before you ever click "apply."
Bus2Job is one of AJB Ventures' first projects. We're starting small — one city, one bus route, one job seeker at a time — because we think this problem is worth solving carefully, not just quickly. If it works the way we hope, we'd like to bring it to a lot more cities, and help a lot more people get to work without needing a car to do it.
We're not trying to replace the job boards you already use. We're trying to answer one question they don't: can I actually get there?
How it works

- Take the next stop. We'll keep the search grounded in the way you actually travel.
